This dress would be great for any party and the teaming of leather with mesh creates an edgy twist to the otherwise vintage style. Adding a killer pair of heels, flatforms or wedges (which unfortunately I have not been blessed with the ability to wear without falling over) would look amazing on a night out.
Floral Print Sweat - Miss Selfridge
This sweat is a piece I have actually bought for myself and will probably be showing in an upcoming outfit post. I love the dusky tones throughout the sweat and let me tell you now, it is the softest thing I have felt in while. If anyone is thinking of buying this I'd definitely say go for it.
Velvet Bodycon Dress - Miss Selfridge
This is another piece that would be great for a night out with the dark tones and velvet. A kimono could easily be thrown over the outfit to add a boho touch. Or a leather jacket would make it more rock'n'ready.
Tapestry Skater Skirt - New Look
This skirt would definitely add a vintage touch to an outfit and paired would black would create a statement on its own. A leather jacket, chunky boots and statement necklace could be worn to add some edge to the skirt.
Midsummer Smock - Miss Selfridge
The folky side to this dress really attracts me to it and despite never really being a massive fan of Miss Selfridge, I recently discovered they have some really nice individual pieces. This dress looks well-made and despite being quite expensive, I'm sure it would be a great investment piece.
Paisley Jaquard Tee - Topshop
The vibrancy in this sweat/top is brilliant. It has a metallic-like effect to it and seeing it in the shop it looks even nicer then it does online. It is different take on dark florals that I am loving.Romantic Grunge - Zara
Anything sheer is great, so being sheer and having a dark floral print is heavenly. Although this may not be a huge winter warm it will be great for layering and I can imagine it with a cute collar or turtle neck underneath.
Hope you like my choices, what do you think?
