Clicking on the shop name will take you to the item:
Floral Sweat - Miss Selfridge Leather skirt - New Look (similar hereBoots - Topshop Leather bag - Bought in Morocco (holiday) Shirt - Forever 21 (similar here)

I decided to take some inside outfit photos instead as the weather is just not playing ball recently, as you would expect in October. Basically, this outfit revolves around this jumper because I am infatuated with it. I spotted it in Miss Selfridge, which is a place I rarely shop due to reasons that I am not quite sure about, but anyway I am glad I did because boy is it soft. At first I thought just the outside of the jumper was soft but the inside is ridiculously soft and keeps you so warm which will be brilliant as it is bound to get even colder here. The sweat also gives off a vintage effect, due to the colour pallete, which I am a sucker for. I haven't had a chance to go 'actual vintage shopping' recently so this is my substitute until I get the chance. I know, I know, it's not the same.

If you have been following my blog you will know that I am obsessed with collars so I am very sorry if you don't like them (I hope you do), but personally I think they can add a little summin' summin' to any outfit. Thin turtlenecks can also be a great alternative for a collar though and I am thinking of investing in some of those, as my collars do pretty much get worn with everything. (Note to self: stop mentioning collars)

The bag, I bought during the two weeks I spent in Morocco this August on holiday with my family, they had some great jewels there in the leather department. The embossed detailing on the front is different to anything I have seen before, so if you have the very random chance of going to Morocco check out those leather bags but be prepared to haggle! If you don't on the off-chance happen to go to Morocco however, I'm sure you could hunt something like this down in a vintage shop somewhere.
I am off to relax now after spending the day on a freezing college-trip pond dipping, oh the joy.

What do you guys think of the jumper?
Ellie x
